The Uni Blues are part of the Melbourne University Football Club, which is the third oldest Australian Rules football club in Australia and compete in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). I worked with the Uni Blues as Team Manager for their Men's Thirds team for the 2024 season and was responsible for managing logistics around training and match day equipment, liaising with the football managers to get team details ready for match days, coordinating team jumpers, scoring and verifying team sheets with opposing team managers. ​This allowed me to get an inside look at the preparation involved and logistical support required to compete professionally in sport.
