The Deakin University Sport Society (DUSS) is a student run club that aims to provide professional development, social and career networking opportunities for students enrolled in Exercise and Sport Science, Sport Management, Sport Development and Health Science degrees. Membership with DUSS is a great way to get a foot in the door into the sports, exercise and health industries.

As President of DUSS, I led the committee to organise, promote and deliver a range of social and professional networking opportunities for the student body in line with the university faculty. My key responsibilities included chairing committee meetings, being the spokesperson for the club at university and industry events, liaising with the sport faculty to deliver weekly 'Sport Talks' and working with the club coordinators to manage the club's financial grants and to ensure all events are in line with the university's risk and safety guidelines
